Mishawr Rawhoshyo - A Srijit Mukherji Film

Publicity Design - Penned down by Sunil Gangopadhyay in the 1970’s, the Kakababu-Santu series was the first dedicated detective series that was written for children. It was also the first novel of the genre to feature a child assistant and thus the stories appealed immensely to readers of all ages.

A film made on such a subject clearly held a huge scope for an artistic campaign. The intricately crafted look that we came up with was Inspired greatly by the iconic hand-drawn traditional Hollywood posters of the 80’s and in our opinion was the only choice, for Mishawr Rawhoshyo.

However, prevailing skepticism regarding the accuracy of hand-drawn characters and consistency of output, majorly motivated the team to put forward the best of their best abilities for this project and proved to be a mammoth achievement for the entire team.

Revealing the iconic crutch, the first look emphasizes on the characteristic features of the protagonist and the magnitude of the film, rather than showcasing the actors in a very conventional manner.

A conscious decision was made to unveil the character against the magnificence of the enigmatic Giza Plateau, heightening the undertone of mystery in the visual.
